While many games offer some sort of holiday cheer in their development, Istaria has it's own set of celebrations.

In the winter, there's Gnomekindle. There's also the Festival of Ash for dragons. On Order shard, the Scions guild has their annual ball. This year, Lovwyrm and crew also made a holiday party scavenger hunt and riddle quest. This, alsong with the merriment of what the NPCs offer at New Rachival (complete with quests for peppermint candies and such from years past) brings together the community to celebrate and come up with player-driven festivities as well. Snowballs (packed and otherwise) abound, and many of the tavernkeepers are stocked with festive pies and assorted hot drinks (and who can say no to a good Granny Nuffles punch?).
