Oprah related, "I was raised a Baptist and we were too hung up on traditional ways. I heard that God is a jealous God. I asked 'Why?' Come on-let's get over it!" She related a "jealous God" to an insecure God. She revealed that she doesn't think God is hung up on what you believe about God-whatever that "force" is, it doesn't care what you call it.

First point... the word or phrase "jealous God" is a mistranslation or misunderstanding of the Hebrew word qanna which is derived from the root word qana which really means zealous. Qana can also mean envious or jealous, in negative sense. But can the word resentful, spiteful, jealous rightfully describe our God, who possesses all things? Hmmmmmmmmm no!

The word Zealous means enthusiastic, eager, passionate, and intense. God's jealousy is zealous for us - for our welfare, for our good. He wants the best for us that He was willing to give up His only begotten son in order to save us and give us eternal life, this way sharing with us all that it His.

Second point --- Okay, my car is an it, an object, my God is not a "whatever that force is" HE (God) is the almighty God the alpha and Omega, the first and the last. Isaiah 43:10 "You are my witnesses," declares the LORD, "and my servant whom I have chosen, so that you may know and believe me and understand that I am He. Before Me no god was formed, nor will there be one after Me.

She calls herself a Christian but believes there are many ways to God... hm, NO.

"For God so loved the world that He gave His Only Begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him (Who? Who's him? (JESUS) should not perish, but have Everlasting Life" (Jn. 3:16). "Jesus said, 'I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father, but through Me. (through who? JESUS)

She states, "I believe in the FORCE-I call it (It? God is not an object) God." She also said if you believe in a rhythm of nature and in love, then you believe in God. (Sounds like new age to me not Christianity)

Oprah responded to an audience member, "I am not new age anything, I am just trying to open a door so that people can see themselves more clearly and perhaps be the light to get them to God, whatever they may call that. (again He is not a that, He is Jesus)

Okay here I go again... the only way to see ourselves clearly is to let the lamb of God (Jesus) work according to the divine plan our father in heaven set for us before our creation. She said "and perhaps be the light to get them to God", excuse me? A light to get to God? What? NO, first of all if you don't have Jesus truly have Him in your life you don't have the light. Who's the light? Jesus. John 8:12 Jesus said, "I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life." (Who's that? Jesus)

So when you know Jesus and have a personal relationship with him (A REAL relationship) not a I will sometimes go to church, I will sometimes pray or I am spiritual but not a Christian, I know Jesus but I don't need to go to church, or when things are going wrong in your life you go running to him, NO, not that kind of relationship.

I'm talking about the kind of relationship that makes you get up in the middle of the night and just praise Him for who He is. The kind of relationship that you freely give your free will to Him without questions asked knowing that with Him (Jesus) all things are possible. That kind of relationship that makes you search for Him in a way that you can't take a breath of air without having one for Him.

The kind of relationship that Roman 10:9-10 shows us "If you confess with your mouth that Jesus (no one else) is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him (Jesus) from the dead, you will be saved. For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, (when you believe that Jesus is the only way) and it is by confessing with your mouth (that Jesus is the only way) that you are saved. This way becoming one with Christ and only then you become that light in this world.

Jesus said of His people: "'You are the light of the world. A city on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven.'" (Matthew 5:14-16) Is he saying everyone is the light? NO.

"But whoever lives by the truth (Jesus is the truth) comes into the light, so that it may be seen plainly that what he has done has been done through God." (John 3:19-21) SO you need to know the truth. And what is the truth Oprah?... Jesus and only Him.

When corrected by a Christian in the audience that Jesus said He was the only Way, the panel lost their composure, coming unglued. Oprah reacted, "There couldn't possibly be only one way...Does God care about your heart or whether you called His Son Jesus?"

Hmmm, yes Oprah God himself said you should call Him Jesus... Matthew 1:21 She will give birth to a son, and you are to name him Jesus (Yeshu" or "Yeshua") because he is the one who will save his people from their sins." (Know your bible) the bible also says in John 14:13-14 "And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name,(Jesus) that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If ye shall ask any thing in my name,(Jesus) I will do it."

Yes God is concern where your heart is (that is just a nonsense statement) so not even going to touch that.

Knowing all this I question... Why true Christians consider saying I wish I was Oprah or even look at her as a role model? Why because she does go for other? Even the devil can do good and create miracles though his miracles are counterfeits or deceptions meant to fool people. John 10:10 "The thief's purpose is to steal and kill and destroy". I am not saying in any way or form that Oprah is the devil, all I'm saying she is not an advocate to the word of God or how to get closer and have a relationship with the all mighty God. Why she's not an advocate? Because she knows about Jesus but does' not have a relationship with Him. A person who truly has a relationship with God does not advocate another way to get to God.

One more thing Oprah about the subject of "Is God concern if you call His son Jesus".

When you cry out the name of Jesus, you get delivered and set free from illness and distortion. (Phil. 2:10-11). "At the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father"

When you say Jesus you are saying, "No weapon formed against you shall prosper" (Is. 54:17), When you say Jesus, you are saying, "Greater is He (Jesus) that's in me than he that's in the world" (1 John 4:4). You are saying, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me" (Philippians 4:13). When you believe in His name (Jesus) no matter if you are "hard pressed on every side, you will not be crushed; perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed" (2 Cor. 4:8,9).

I can go on with scriptures that tells us about the power and the importance of the name of JESUS.

Oprah, keep doing what you do, helping does that need help, leave the teaching of the word of God to does who study it and honor it.
