I had a great weekend and so did EveryQ. I went to ShoreLeave 30. It is a Sci Fi convention located in Hunt Valley, Maryland. I meant and had a chance to speak to some interesting people.

Dr. Thomas Stevens who co-chaired a panel on LGBT within the Sci Fi community at 11PM Friday evening. Convention committee sees this panel as an adult only discussion. I will disucss this later in the Blog. He is a very insightful person and sees us moving forward in with our rights and being more visible in a more positive aspect.

Eric Dorsett who co-chaired the same panel. He is a Sci Fi writer, Project Shadow, who has told/written stories with us as main characters, not secondary or after-thought characters.

Steve Lunny and Matthew Santoro from iGAYMER. The site is for gay gamers, geeks, and nerds. I love this site... I may get back into gaming.

George Takei and his lover Brad Altman: They are very happy together and I only spoke to them for a brief moment but I did get a chance to give them some information on EveryQ.
